About Robert Kleinschmidt
Robert Kleinschmidt obtained a BBA degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1971, before achieving a Masters in Economics from the University of Massachusetts. He also undertook further post-graduate work in Economics at Columbia University. Robert then spent two years as an analyst with Irving Trust Company before becoming a partner at David Green & Company in 1978 and qualifying as a Chartered Financial Analyst in 1981. He joined Tocqueville Asset Management in 1991, where he currently holds the posts of president, CEO and chief investment officer. Robert manages the Tocqueville Investment Funds - Multi Cap Equity Fund. Away from the office, he leans towards outdoor activities with golf, shooting, tennis and fly-fishing featuring amongst his pastimes.
